Café Gran del Val blends tradition and innovation over four generations. It represents the Fernández family's commitment to coffee cultivation since 1914. With dedication to quality, they cultivate coffee in Gladys, Gran Paraíso, La Bruja, and La Fortuna farms.
Up to 1,600 meters above sea level, the estate is amid Boquete's mountains. With fertile volcanic soil, a mild climate, and a year-round light rain called "bajareque," it has an ideal environment for producing speciality coffee.
As dedicated coffee producers, they prioritise environmental and social welfare. Cafetalera Fernández founded Panama's first eco-coffee mill in 1997, obtaining Rainforest Alliance New York and Hiro Coffee Japan certifications.
